BOATING
Well Harsens Island is surrounded by water ! There are several DNR Boat
Launch sites available on the Island, boating is probably the number one
recreation activity, boats in all sizes and shapes as well as personal watercraft
are in abundance.
FISHING
Starting with the spring Perch run and Walleye, into the summer with Walleye,
Musky, Salmon, just to name a few, through to the winter when the ice forms
and the shanty's begin to dot the ice, fishing is the name of the game on
Harsens Island. Listed below are a few local fishing charter services, check
them out.
HUNTING
The two main hunting seasons on the Island are Duck and Deer. There
are also a variety of other game to hunt including pheasants, rabbits and
the like. Please obtain a copy of the Department of Natural Resources rules
and regulations, available where hunting licences are sold or through the
